Teacher Appreciation Day at The Rock Ranch

Teachers visiting The Rock Ranch on Sept. 26 will have a special treat. All teachers, with a school ID, and a guest will be admitted free to the first of eight themed Saturdays at The Rock Ranch during Fall Family Fun Days.

Under the theme of “The Rock Ranch Rural Roundup,” Sept. 26 will also serve as “Chick-fil-A Raving Fan Day” and “Media Day.” Chick-fil-A Raving Fans, as identified by Chick-fil-A owners and operators, and media personnel, and their families will be admitted free.

Among the activities included in “The Rock Ranch Rural Roundup” are the grand opening of the “Lincoln Penny” corn maze, an arm wrestling tournament, professional lawnmower racing, a dunk tank, an outhouse relay race and much, much more.

In addition, all of The Rock Ranch’s regular attractions like the locomotive train, slide hill, pedal boats, family bicycles, corn box and others will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each Saturday from Sept. 26 to Nov. 14.

The Rock Ranch is a 1,250-acre cattle ranch owned by Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy. In much the same way as Cathy has made it his personal mission to teach young people and provide them with good, quality role models, The Rock Ranch seeks to use its setting and its amenities as a way to reinforce many of the values and principles that are vital to the development of character in children.

The Rock Ranch is located at 5020 Barnesville Highway, The Rock, Ga. For reservations or directions, contact The Rock Ranch at 706-647-6374 or visit www.TheRockRanch.com.
