Super Heroes Converge on Zoo Atlanta

Meet Spider-Man™ and friends Labor Day Weekend

Even Super Heroes need a day at the Zoo. Spider-Man™, Wolverine™, Storm™ and Green Goblin™ combine their considerable powers during Super Heroes Weekend at Zoo Atlanta, September 5, 6 and 7. The classic Marvel Comics™ characters star in six performances of Operation Green™, a dynamic live-action show pitting Spider-Man and his cohorts against the dastardly Green Goblin in the fight to stop pollution and rescue the environment. Following each show, members of the audience will have an exclusive chance to meet the Super Heroes for photo opportunities and autographs.

Super Heroes Weekend also gives Zoo Atlanta an opportunity to showcase its own hero status as a champion of wildlife and conservation, with fun activities introducing young people to lifelong patterns of stewardship that begin at home in their own backyards. Opportunities will include face painting; storytelling with favorite costume characters; Super Hero crafts; games; keeper talks; and special animal encounters.

Tickets are $10 for Zoo Atlanta Members and children under 3; $24.99 for non-Member adults ages 12 and up; $20.99 for non-Member children ages 3 to 11. Children under 3 are $10. Infants under the age of 1 may sit in a parent’s lap and do not require a ticket. Tickets include admission to Operation Green, character meet-and-greet and all other Super Heroes Weekend activities. Non-Member ticket price includes Zoo admission. Visit zooatlanta.org for tickets, show times and event details.
