Annual Holiday Tradition Celebrated at Marietta’s Historic Marlow House
Friday, November 19, 2010–Atlanta Lyric Theatre presents its second annual Christmas Tea with Santa Claus and Cinderella, offering children and adults a whimsical celebration at the historic Marlow House (192 Church Street) near the Marietta Square, beginning Saturday, December 4.
The Christmas Tea with Santa Claus and Cinderella features tea sandwiches, holiday cookies and candies, story time with Santa, music by Santa’s Elves who lead a parade to take photos with Santa and a special Christmas treat for each child.
Completing the setting, The Marlow House, a charming Victorian house on the historic registry will be brimming with cheer and holiday decorations! Tickets are $30 plus tax per person, and seating is limited.

The Rink at Park Tavern Hosts Breakfast with Santa on Opening Day
Celebrate the Grand Opening of Atlanta’s New Ice Skating Rink with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Monday, November 22 at 8 a.m.

The Rink at Park Tavern, a new covered ice skating rink located in the heart of Midtown in Piedmont Park, will open to the public on Monday, November 22, 2010. To celebrate its arrival, Park Tavern is hosting a special Breakfast with Santa at The Rink from 8 to 10:30 a.m. that morning. For $10 kids can enjoy sweets from Santa’s bakery, cereal and fruit juices. Parents can bring a camera, but there will also be a professional photographer available to snap pictures with Santa. Park Tavern’s new homemade hot chocolate and new frozen hot chocolate will be available for purchase. Parents will also be able to purchase bagels, coffee and gourmet Danishes. Located in the spacious Garden Tent in Park Tavern, The Rink will feature modern amenities for day and night skating including a brand new rink created with harvested rainwater that is 85 feet long and 40 feet wide. Skaters will stay warm under a beautiful heated tent with a state-of-the-art sound system; while observers can enjoy rink-side dining, homemade hot chocolate, specialty cocktails, house-brews, ½ price wine bottles every Wednesday, 1/2 off sushi nightly from 10 p.m. to midnight, holiday decorations, and much more. With original woodwork, Stone Mountain-granite walls, stack-stone fireplaces, granite bars, new leather furniture and a natural slate floor, Park Tavern’s lodge-like feel will only enhance the overall experience.

Easyriders Events Bike Show Tour Nov 20
Easyriders Events have announced the Easyriders Events Bike Show Tour Dates for 2010 & 2011. The tour includes an event in Atlanta on Saturday, November 20th, 2010 with special guest host, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. The event is being held at Georgia World Congress Center and the event’s organizers are estimating over 20,000 guests to attend their Atlanta tour stop.
The Annual Easyriders Events Bike Show in Atlanta provides all ages of bike enthusiasts and fans with a record 250 plus custom bikes competing for over 55 plus awards which can be viewed on line at http://www.easyridersevents.com/
Easyriders Events Marketing and Entertainment Director, Tucker Kroll attributes the record breaking number of custom bike entries this year to their free space program which gives wristband holders an option to feature their custom bikes at the show for no charge.
The Annual Easyriders Events Bike Show in Atlanta will be photographed by world-famous motorcycle photographer Michael Lichter. Some of the world's top bike builders have joined this year's tour including Paul Yaffe, The Limpnickie Lot, and Kendall Johnson. The industries top manufacturing reps will be on hand showing off all of the industries new cutting edge products. All guests attending the show in Atlanta have a chance to win a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle and enjoy motorcycle stunt shows throughout the events.
This year’s Easyriders Events Bike Show in Atlanta features the new five thousand square foot Kids Zone Area hosted by Moises Arias who plays Rico who on Disney’s hit show, Hannah Montana. Rico will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. The Kids Zone also features a state-of-the art interactive arcade and a full day's worth of family activities. Celebrated recording and touring artists, Cowboy Mouth will perform at the event.
Doors open at 10:00am and close at 8:00pm. Tickets for adults are $18 and $10 for kids age four to thirteen. Children under the age of three are admitted free. Christmas in the Park, Olde Towne Morrow
The 4th Annual Christmas in the Park will be held from 2pm to 7pm on December 4, 2010 at Olde Towne Morrow (1063 Southlake Circle, Morrow, Ga. 30260), adjacent to Southlake Mall. The event will feature local churches, non-profit organizations and community businesses, all in festive form to kick off the holiday season. There will be delicious food and beverages. Plus, FREE rides on Morrow's Lil' General Train, pictures with Santa Claus, and Morrow's own Singing Christmas Tree with carolers from local churches and school choirs. November is Long Term Care Awareness Month. The Carnegie invites you to bring your lunch and join us as Joel Sworney presents “What’s Your Plan: Alzheimer’s Awareness and Long Tem Care”. This informational program will provide education and advice on planning for Long Term Care.
Joel’s background is in Engineering but became committed to long term care insurance after the illnesses of several relatives. He has been a regional and national speaker about Long Term Care and has served on Georgia’s panel of experts concerning Long Term Care issues. Joel resides in Newnan with his wife and two children.
Come to The Carnegie for an informative seminar with local financial advisor Sam Madaris Jr. In “Retirement Has Changed, What’s Your Next Move?” you will learn how to organize and record your financial assets, set realistic goals for retirement spending, determine if you’re on track to reach your goals and what to do if you aren’t. This program will be Monday, November 15 at 10 A.M. Refreshments will be served.
Sam is a Newnan native who has over 20 years of financial planning, financial management, and executive management experience of Fortune 500 companies in the financial, technology, production, telecommunications, professional services consulting, program management, and healthcare industries.

The Carnegie was funded by the city of Newnan’s General Fund and partly by 2007 Special Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST). The Carnegie’s cost to be renovated was over $1.5 million dollars to the city.
